We have been on vacation for a little while. I have enjoyed relaxing with the family. I am excited to go home and get back to work. :)

Forever and a day

It has been forever and a day since I posted to my blog. I have been working and being crazy. I am going to try to post more to it so I can remember more of the kids life as it happens. It has been a crazy journey being here in Washington. I have found a love for the army way of life. I have been very active in our unit. I have a job with the schools that I love and I am still able to pursue my love of photography.

Caleb and Colton Shots

I went to take Caleb and Colton to get their shots today. They both passed out because they stressed themselves out so much over the shots. They will have to go back Tuesday to try again.

Kids school

I got the records transferred after a few phone calls. Like 4 days of phone calls. So we have to get a shot for the boys on Tuesday before they start school. UGGG. They will not like that

Harm's Birthday

Today was Harm's birthday. I didn't get to get him his pony or pinata. That is all he asked for. But we did go out for ice cream. I will make him a cake and celebrate his birthday after we get into the house. :)
We swam and hung out in the hot tub.
We got the kids school supplies most of them.

Our New House

We have not gotten to go in the new house. Maintenance is still working in it. It is a 4 bedroom house. The floor plan looks like it has a nice sized kitchen, laundry room, dinning room, family room and living room. I will have space for my office in there.

Registered for school

I registered the boys for school today. WHOOO! They are not looking forward to it. :) I will go Monday to register Courtney. Caleb and Colton have a new student orientation on Monday night.

Stuck in Hotels

We are in a hotel for now. Our house will not be ready till Sept 9. So we will be camping out in a hotel forever.

Crazy Horse was the boys favorite spot to visit.

We had some trouble with a tire on the trailer for the boat so we did not get to go to Devils Rock but we plan on doing that when we come back to Iowa.

The kids are sick of staying in hotels and eating out. I don't think I have ever heard that. I will write more later when I have time to get to the computer again.

We are still on the Road

We are still driving to WA. We stopped at Mount Rushmore yesterday. Kids enjoyed it but like Crazy Horse even more.

Moving.....

Well the movers will be here the 17th.....WA here we come. It should be fun and interesting. I am looking forward to living with my husband. :)

Sunday's Party

We were very happy to see every one on Sunday that came to the park. It was great to see every one. The kids had fun playing in the water while the adults got to talk.

My graduation Saturday was fun.

Vacation

Well we are still at the lake. Love the time we have spent here. Do we have to go home on Monday? Can we just stay for the rest of the summer?

Lake Okaboji is one of only 3 clear lakes. Love that you can see your feet in the water. It is cold but fun. The kids have been tubing a lot. They seem to like it. Caleb is not real fond of the water but goes anyways. We spend lots of time at the pool. We have been using lots of sun screen. I have burned in a few spots that I have missed.

Yesterday we spent the day at Arnold's Park. The world's oldest roller coaster. It was fun. The kids loved it.

We are at Lake Okiboji

We made it here last night. It is has been a great day. It rained this am but cleared up the kids went to the pool.

Hours

It is hours till Harmand gets home. YEA!

Courtney is feeling better today. She said her tooth hurt a little. But she went to school.

I got some groceries and I am headed to the boys awards ceremony.

Courtney

Courtney was feeling really bad for a while I called the dentist. She was crying because her mouth hurts so bad. He said to rotate ibuprofen and Tylenol. I had already given her the Tylenol about 2 hrs before so I gave her the ibuprofen. We went to Drug town and got some fudge bars and the ibuprofen. I think the fudge bars helped more than the ibuprofen. :)

Hopefully she is back to normal tomorrow. He said if she isn't that we should call tomorrow am and he will see her. Last time she had one it was not this big of a deal she went back to normal with in a few hours afterwards. But it was in the afternoon not the morning when we had it done. I think it might be better to keep those appt to the afternoons so she can go to bed sooner and sleep it off.

dentist

Courtney had her root canal today. Poor baby. She is back at home sleeping now. I feel so bad for her. We are a little over 24 hrs till dh comes home whoo! I am excited. He is in a hotel now.

I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
This is such a fitting verse. After the funeral today, I have cried and now it is time to move on with our life. I have felt this way so many times when you have cried so much and now I can't cry any more. This is when it is time to have peace..
